A Child's Generosity

My son plays Pokemon and attended a local tournament. During the day one child became very upset as he did not do very well and had never had one of the best cards that all the other had. My son mentioned this to me and suggested that he go and talk to him about when he was new to the game. The two chatted for a while and then I noticed that my son had given him one of his special cards. I knew that it was a really precious card to him so asked what had made him part with it. He said that he had wanted to make the boy happy and not give up and although he liked the card a lot thought this boy needed it more. My son is 9 and although I would normally be cross at him giving things away thought this was a real act of kindness.

Lost and Found

I was doing some shopping in the local high street and bought some fruit and veg from one of the shops and after i was finish i left the store. I went to another store near by to buy something. When i looked in my pocket book i was short one pound to make my purchase. So while looking in my bag there came a cashier from the fruit and veg store which was a few doors down the road. She had something in her hand it was the one pound coin that i was looking for. She said it must belong to you since you were the last one at the counter.I looked at her and said i was just looking for a pound and you showed up.What are the odds of that.I said to her thank you so much.As she walked away i just watched her and said to my self there are still nice people in the world.
